Back from the woods

Well, I'm back. The forests aren't exactly safe from clearcutters yet, but I tried to do my bit. In the meantime, I accumulated some good items for the blog, which restarts tomorrow with a bit of investigative reporting about, of all things, peanut butter.

Thanks for your patience.

I was thinking I'd better write to you and find out what was up with you, and then there you are! I got the press kit from Xerces Society (and Sarina did confirm after consult with her entomologist that the bee was Bombus terricola. Isn't taht great? I'll be watching for them much more closely this year.
When you have time (yeah, right) pop over to Blotanical and get involved. It's a great way to build your readership and find likeminded bloggers, etc. I know you're registered there but don't think you've been since it became Blotanical. Lots of fun. i've almost given up sleeping....;-)

Well hi there Jodi, and yes I do need to do more with Blotanical. One of the items I'm going to be doing soon is the one about the new program at Xerces. Something else to stay tuned for.

Most excellent! I missed seeing new posts here, and I'm deep into research for my May-June Saltscapes article (on pollinators) plus will be giving talks on butterfly gardening that will include pollinators in general. So whatever we can do to spread the word, of course....
